Warm, highly skilled psychologist, who very much enjoys working with people. I work one on one with each client and tailor the program to suit their needs.
I completed my thesis on anxiety's effect on perception & behaviour & was the first psychologist to use gut-directed psychology with clinical hypnotherapy in Sydney to successfully treat people with IBS, & functional & inflammatory bowel disorders.
I use a combination of evidence based strategies including mindfulness-based CBT, solutions-focused therapy, clinical hypnosis, & breath work to bring about change.
My areas of interest are: anxiety disorders, gut disorders, trauma, disordered eating (obesity, binge, anorexia & orthorexia, ARFID), autoimmune conditions & chronic pain management.
As a person with lived experience, I try to decrease the gap between "us & them" & include the voices of those who have been there, when relvant.
