Veronica, the clinics lead psychologist, actively researches the role of psychology in treating gut-brain and eating disorders, anxiety, and chronic health. She has been invited to present at The Royal North Shore Hospital (on psychology in gut function), the SAN hospital (on the role of psychology in obesity) and at Paediatric Gastroenterology Seminars. Veronica established successful psychology clinics at the OClinic, the Gut Centre (NSW, through mentorship by Dr Jim Kantidakis), the Engel Clinic, Children's Health Hub, and Sydney Paediatric Gastro. Diagnosed with auto-immune illness at two, Veronica has had her own battles with chronic systemic inflammation, gut-brain disorder and anxiety. After varied treatments, Veronica found relief through strategies which have focused on calming the nervous system and improving digestion. To stay well Veronica enjoys spending time with family and friends, skiing, horses, swimming, and pilates.
